Norwegie Tale has always been more than a cattery. The name itself is meant to represent the tale of our cats lineage, and adventures they lead.
We’ll slowly be transitioning our website from its cattery layout, to a blogging platform in regards to the stories we wish to share.
Some will go as far back as before our cats, and many will begin from the moment we fell in love with the Norwegian Forest cat. We’ve learned so much since our family has grown from one cat, to three, and now five.
While we’ve been grateful and sympathetic to all families searching for a Norwegian Forest breeder on the West coast of US, we never decided to breed full time, as what matters most to us is how it affects our cats. This is something I’ll be sharing in future blog posts, I hope. My experience breeding our cats, and how I believe it’s changed each of our family members by keeping them intact. The struggles we experienced, and how naïve many are to the world of breeding.
I wish to share my raw opinion, and perhaps even start a meaningful conversation some time with like minded individuals. To not educate or berate on the topic, but to give insight into something not often shared, as I assess my feelings of what breeders mean to me.
Outside of that topic point, I’d like to continue sharing daily stories of our cats, even as we’re stuck home these days during Covid-19. And to also journey back to a time when I lived abroad, sharing stories from New Zealand, as well as from my time traveling to my husband’s home country, Czechia.
Our family, including all five of our cats, are hoping to one day set on a new adventure in the Czech Republic, and when that time comes, I wish to share our experience moving abroad with all our furbabies, here on Norwegie Tale.
Until it’s time for the blogging to begin, this website will be in a bit of disarray as I edit occasionally!
Thanks so much for visiting our website, and for those following our social media accounts, thank you for loving our cats as much as we do! During this difficult time, they bring us he most joy, along with seeing everyone else’s furkids on instagram.
Wishing you all to be in good health, and good spirits!
